Celebrations for Eid Milad in full swing

HYDERABAD/LARKANA – The Muslims all over the country are all geared up to celebrate the sacred occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH), the birthday of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) on January 25 (tomorrow) with enthusiasm and religious fervour.
In Hyderabad, the faithfuls have decorated mosques, streets and houses with colourful buntings and fancy lights, besides finalising arrangements to hold public meetings and congregations on 12 Rabiul Awal. The stalls carrying buntings, banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with the slogans of respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) are being set up in every corner of the city.
Large banners and big billboards are being displayed at different entrance points of streets and main roads across the city. Special programmes are being prepared to pay tribute and highlight the different aspects of the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Various social, cultural, educational institutions and religious organisations are finalising their programmes for celebrating Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervour. The cultural organisations have planned competitions of Na’at and Qirat by involving students and youngsters to guide them about the significance of this day.
In Larkana, preparations to celebrate the occasion are underway vigorously as a number of Milad rallies would be taken out across the district. The members of milad committees, traders, citizens and students are seen busy decorating streets, bazaars and buildings with green flags, buntings and other articles in almost all areas of Larkana district. Similarly all main buildings of the city are being illuminated. Main trading/business centres of Larkana including Bunder Road, Pakistan Chowk, Bakrani Road, Jilus Bazar, Resham Gali, Royal road are being beautified to celebrate the occasion with full religious fervour, said a trader leader Khair Muhammad Shaikh. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Assadullah Abro presided over a meeting to finalise the arrangements for  celebrations. In Thatta, festivities to mark Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) have been organised in several parts of the district. Several public and private buildings have been decorated with green flags, buntings and illuminations and various Milad congregations have been arranged.
