ISLAMABAD - Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the present government was committed to eradicate terrorism and is making every possible effort to ensure peace in all parts of the country.
Talking to state TV channel, he said, “Pakistan is facing a number of challenges and there is a need to address the issues with collective efforts and unity of the political forces.”

He added that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz government was taking all important steps to eliminate terrorism. “Pakistan Army has launched the operation in NWA to flush out the terrorists,” he said. Governor Punjab urged all the political parties and civil society to forge unity to foil the nefarious designs of the enemy.
Replying to a question regarding Lahore incident, he said that present government had formed a judicial commission so that action could be taken against all responsible elements.
Sarwar assured that the government would deal against the culprits of the Model Town incident and justice would not be denied to anyone.
