KAMALIA - Chairman Awam League and former Punjab education minister Riaz Fatyana supported the idea of building a mausoleum of Ch Rehmat Ali in Kamalia and assured Sarwar Noor, struggling for the purpose, of his full cooperation.
He said that Ch Rehmat Ali was a great worker of the freedom movement. “Ch Rehmat Ali coined the word “Pakistan” which is our introduction in the whole world,” he pointed out. He added that it would be a great honour for the people of Kamalia to have the mausoleum of a national hero at their hometown. He urged the federal government to support Sarwar Noor in his mission. “Anything which is required for completion of the process for bringing Ch Rehmat Ali’s remains from UK to Pakistan must be furnished by the Pakistani government so that Sarwar Noor may succeed in his mission,” he maintained.
SPORTS GROUND
MNA Ch Asadur Rehman visited Chak 56 Tukda and inspected the locations proposed for sports grounds. Kamalia Assistant Commissioner Hafiz Najeeb accompanied the lawmaker. On the occasion, Ch Asad told The Nation that funds have been approved for a sport ground at Chak 56 Tukda and the construction would be started soon. He stated that the sport grounds would facilitate the youth of the area. He said that more sports grounds would also be built at other locations in Kamalia tehsil.
He claimed that the PML-N government has always taken effective steps for resolution of problems of the youth.
