The LHC reserved verdict on Punjab govt's appeal against release of Model Town inquiry report.

A full bench headed by Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh heard the case. The bench has observed result will be announced soon.

On Sept 21, a single bench comprising Justice Sayyed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi ordered the Punjab govt to release the report so everyone including the victim families could know about facts. The govt, however, challenged the decision.

At least 14 people died and 85 others died in Model Town incident in 2014.
