ISLAMABAD - The first-ever joint military exercise between Pakistan and Morocco concluded on Saturday at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Kharian Pabbi.
The closing ceremony of ‘Pakistan-Morocco Bilateral Joint Exercise – 2021’ was held at the centre, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). During the exercise, Special Forces of the two countries practiced various drills involved in counter terrorism operations including cordon and search, compound clearance, close quarter battle, fast roping, rappelling and combat medics.
“The training was aimed at sharing mutual experience in counter terrorism domain, rehearsing as well as adopting best practices and enhancing cooperation between the two armies,” according to military’s media wing.
