HAFIZABAD-The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment DG has directed the ACE Hafizabad officers to probe the allegations regarding misappropriation of Rs7.2 million by a Stenographer of the District Education Office (Elementary Male) during over the past few years.
According to official source, Mushtaq Ahmad Chattha and Riaz Ahmad Tarar, office-bearers of the Punjab Teachers Union Hafizabad chapter, have submitted a complaint, claiming that Stenographer Sana Ullah had misappropriated Rs7.2 million from the scholarship account of class-V students over the past 12 years. As a result most of the boy and girl students have been deprived of the scholarship amount. The ACE have started inquiry into the allegations and also taken into to custody the relevant record.
