KARACHI - UAE Ambassador Essa Abdulla Al Basha Al Noaimi on Saturday called on Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah at the CM House and discussed matters of bilateral interest.
He was accompanied by Bakheet Ateeq Al-Romaithi, consul general of UAE Consulate in Karachi. Sindh Agriculture Minister Ali Nawaz Shah and Secretary to Chief Minister Agha Jan Akhtar were also present on the occasion.
Both sides explored avenues for boosting trade and investment opportunities in UAE and Pakistan. The ambassador reiterated the UAE government’s resolve for its cooperation to stimulate trade and diverse portfolio of investment opportunities in Sindh. The CM also reciprocated his government’s determination for investment opportunities in UAE.
The ambassador extended an invitation from UAE minister to Sindh CM to the second round of the annual investment meeting to be held in Dubai from May 1-3. Qaim also presented traditional gifts of ‘Khais’ and Sindhi Ajrak to the envoy .
