Chinese envoy visits MQM headquarters

KARACHI  - Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Lie Jian visited the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters at Azizabad here. The Chinese Ambassador also met with MQM Rabita Committee Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar, said a statement issued here on Saturday. Member Rabita Committee Kunwar Khalid Yunus and Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs Syed Faisal Sabzwari were also present on the occasion.
Lie Jian was accompanied by Chinese Consul General in Karachi Zhangji Anxin, Vice Consul General, Pan Qingjiang, Consular Zhon Zheneheng, Third Secretary Tang Xin, and Consul Attachee Yin Minjun. The political and socio-economic circumstances of the country came under discussion during the meeting that lasted over 50 minutes.
The Chinese Ambassador praised the services of the MQM for the cause of democracy and strengthening of the democratic institutions in the country. Bilateral and friendly relations between Pakistan and China were also came under discussion. The members of visiting Chinese delegation were presented the books “My Life Journey and Pictorial Biography of Altaf Hussain” by the MQM leaders.
