The PML-N MNA, Javed Latif, has been injured as he was tried to address protesters in his local town Sheikhupura today.

The MNA was moved hospital where he was said to be in stable condition. His security in charge and an advisor were also harmed in the assault.

In the meantime, several supporters of Tehreek-e-Labaik assaulted the residence of Zahid Hamid in Sialkot.

The assailants vandalized and pelted stones at Hamid's home which is in Pasrur Sialkot.
Only twelve security guards were posted at the house and many of them have been harmed in the assault, following which extra security was summoned.

police have captured more than twelve dissenters that were purportedly engaged in the assault from the scene.

The law minister’s family were not on the resident at the time of the assault.
