OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - A group of Chinese academia and students have urged upon the industrialists to benefit from Chinese experience and its upgraded technology in order to increase their production and maintain their position in the national and international market. These views were expressed by a Chinese delegation during their visit to Punjab Industrial Estates Development Management Companys (PIEDMC) head office and factories of Sundar Industrial Estate here. The head of the delegation Zhou Yushu and the President of Honder College of Mongolia University appreciated the efforts of PIEDMC to establish small and new industrial Estates in far flung areas like Rahim Yar Khan and Bhalwal in the Province of Punjab and also eulogized the policy initiative of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharrif in this regard. He explained that it was the Chinese model to relocate industrial centers from big cities to small areas as it would help eliminate Poverty. He informed that China was relocating its industry besides its Educational institutions; this move needs to be benefited by acquiring new expertise and technology by Pakistan. The visitors stressed upon planners to increase linkages between the industrialists and the academia. The delegation also visited different factories in Sundar industrial Estate and discussed with the industrialists various issues of mutual interest.
