OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE The PML-N has no right to propose more provinces in Sindh, as it has no candidate to field in the next polls from that province, stated PML-Qs parliamentary party leader in the Punjab Assembly Chaudhary Zaheer. He was addressing the parliamentary party meeting on Monday. He claimed the PML-N would not be in a position to represent Lahore in the next general election, while the PML-Q would continue its support to a new province in Southern Punjab till the formation of the proposed province. Ch Zaheer maintained that Shahbaz Sharif had hurt the sentiments of the Sindhis and that he should seek apology from them. He further maintained that the chief minister has been dishonest by comparing the situation in Punjab with that of in Sindh in the backdrop of a demand for new provinces. The PML-Q leader said that no political party of Sindh has demanded new provinces, however in Punjab two major political forces, PML-Q and PPP have demanded a new province on southern parts of Punjab. He said that demanding more provinces in Sindh or other federating units was the right of the people living in these provinces and their elected representatives.
