ISLAMABAD - The federal law ministry on Monday submitted an application in the Supreme Court seeking complete record of Zulfikar Ali Bhuttos death sentence case. The application was filed with the Supreme Courts registrar office by the law ministrys senior consultant Arif Chaudhry. The applicant requested the court to provide complete record of Bhutto case including the statements of five approvers. The interim orders of Lahore High Court and the apex court as well as audio record of courts proceedings have also been sought. It may be mentioned here that a larger bench of the Supreme Court will start hearing on May 2 over a Presidential reference for revisiting the case of former PM Z.A Bhutto.
