LAHORE A 25-year-old sweeper committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling fan inside his residential quarter here in South Cantonment police area on Monday, police said. Resident of Pakpatan, Arif Masih, had been facing severe financial constraints for the last several months. On Monday, the disillusioned youth confined him in the bedroom and later hanged himself with the ceiling fan with a rope, police investigators said. The police reached the spot and handed over the body to the deceased family without autopsy. Police investigators said the deceased was working as sweeper at the office of a sensitive institution.Reporter
