SADIQABAD- The district administration and security institutions have been playing due role for bringing an end to manufacturing of counterfeit medicines and illegal kidney transplant.
It was stated by Deputy Commissioner Socrat Aman during a video-link conference held to review efforts being made to end illegal kidney transplant in the Rahim Yar Khan district. The meeting was held under the chair of Commissioner Bahawalpur.
The DC informed that the not a single group has so far been found in the district involved in the malpractice. “Health Department has been directed to launch a vigorous campaign for awareness of the masses that no one can donate his kidney to any other except his blood relatives,” he claimed. The administration is also tightening the noose around manufacturers of fake medicines, he added.
District Health Authority Chief Executive Authority Dr Makhdoom Basharat, DSP (investigation) Mamoon Rasheed and other officers also attended the meeting.
