Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway M-1 opens for traffic

Motorway M-1 is open for traffic from Islamabad to Peshawar, reported Radio Pakistan.

According to a spokesperson of Motorway Police, M-2 is open for traffic from Lahore to Pindi-Bhattian but closed from Pindi-bhattian to Islamabad.

Motorway from Faisalabad to Pindi-Bhattian is also open for traffic.

Motorway Police is ensuring flow of traffic through alternative routes. 

GT Road is closed at Mandra, Taxila, Gujranwala, and Ravi Rayon.

In Islamabad Rawalpindi, Stadium Road, 9th Avenue, Kashmir Highway and IJP Road are open for traffic.

Traffic coming from Islamabad airport should use Rawal Road, Murree Road, Stadium Road, 9th Avenue, and Kashmir highway.

Residents of Red Zone, Sectors G-7, G-6, G-5, F-7, F-6, and adjacent areas can use Mohra Noor, Chattha Bakhtawar, Jinnah Avenue, and Banigala roads for traffic.

Red zone, Sectors F-5, and G-5 can be accessed through Ayub Chowk Marriott Hotel, and Margalla Road.
