PFBA organises trade performance awards
LAHORE (PR): The Pakistan France Business Alliance (PFBA) organised the 10th Pakistan France Trade Performance Awards for the members who excelled in their respective categories. The ceremony was held at local hotel that was hosted by Jamil Hamdani, President of PFBA & Shaukat Hassan, Vice President (Northern Chapter). The chief guest was Muhammad Sarwar, Governor Punjab in the presence of Philippe Thiébaud, Ambassador of France in Pakistan.
PFBA aims to encourage and promote business, mutual understanding and friendly relations between the business communities of Pakistan and France. In pursuit of this, the Alliance intends to encourage, participate and facilitate the exchange of visitors and delegations between the two countries, maintain directories, periodicals and other literature regarding trade information on French companies; and finally, assist in identifying and disseminating information relating to business opportunities between the two countries.
Members include French multinationals and local national companies such as Sanafoi-Aventis, Synder Electric, Total Oil, L’Oreal, Mazars, IPSOS, Nutricia & Alstom, Bureau veritas, Gul Ahmed Textiles, Yunus Textiles, Kohinoor Group, Manhattan Leo-Burnett, Infotel etc.

TNS holds IB diploma event
LAHORE (PR): TNS Beaconhouse arranged a seminar on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club on April 26.
The purpose of the seminar was to introduce the IB Diploma Programme to students in order to understand the IB system of learning and its advantages. The session was well-attended by students who are appearing for their O Levels and may want to consider switching to the IB stream after O Levels.  Starting with an overview of the IBDP by Mr Clive Barnes, Head of TNS Beaconhouse, thereafter, TNS Year 10 students shared their experiences of studying at TNS as well.
 The seminar comprised of several short and informative segments. Ms Ravale Mohyeddin, the Admissions Counsellor at TNS gave a talk on university admissions and IBDP recognition.
