Lahore- Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that some elements wanted confrontation between army, the media and the government. He added that these elements were neither well-wishers of the government nor the military. He said every Pakistani, including Hamid Mir respect Pakistan Army. He said demonstration in favor of army by a banned outfit was not good for the military.
He said Amir Mir gave an emotional statement, to which Director General ISPR responded accurately. Rana said some channels wanted to seek revenge from Geo News. He added that a ban on Jang and Geo was no option, adding it would further deteriorate the situation.
