LAHORE Daewoo Pakistan Express Company on Friday launched its bus service from Lahore to Dera lsmail Khan via Sargodha and Mianwali. The formal inaugural ceremony of bus service held at Daewoo Bus Terminal, Lahore. Secretary District Regional Transport Authority Munir Ahmed Joya and Company CEO Jay Chang inaugurated the bus service. On this occasion, CEO. Jay Chang mentioned that Mianwali city residents from now onwards would enjoy comfortable and international level bus service between Lahore to Mianwali. He elaborated that for the first time, new routes of bus service have been added between Lahore, Mianwali, Sargodha, Mianwali and Dera lsmail Khan, Sargodha respectively. Secretary District Regional Transport Authority Munir Ahmed Joya appreciated Daewoo Pakistan Express Managements decision on launching the route. He added that the passengers of Lahore, Sargodha, Mianwali and Dera lsmail Khan would be facilitated with the start of the service. Daewoo Pakistan Express Company General Manager Operations Munawar Saeed Sheikh also shared his views, saying that Daewoo Pakistan Express has been consistently receiving passengers requests to initiate its service between Lahore and Mianwali. Thus, keeping in view of the demand, Company has decided to launch its bus service with cargo service on the route, he added. He said that the Company would continue to take such measures so that people enjoy international transport facilities at economical cost in future as well.
