Quality of education

I really feel sorry for my two little schoolgoing children (daughter named Maham in class III and son named Muhammad Saqib in class I) when I see them carrying their heavy school bags (full of books, copies, class/home work diaries, etc.)of a private school on their thin shoulders with theirbowed bodies. I am sure the parents of other school goinglittle children (of private schools)must have felt the same situation. I request toboth the owners and the management of all the private schools of the countryto look into this serious issue of heavy school bagscarried bysmall children to their schools. More focus should be given on quality of education instead of quantity of the same. ABDUL SAMAD SAMO, Karachi, August 26.
