Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said police rules will be prepared to ensure writ of the government in the province, reported Radio Pakistan.

While chairing Sindh Cabinet meeting in Karachi on Saturday, the CM said he wants to prepare police rules in accordance with the constitution and law.

The cabinet reviewed police rules and procedure for appointment of police officers from Inspector General (IG) to Station Head Officer (SHO).

The chief minister said he wants to improve the performance of institutions in the interest of people.
