ISLAMABAD - The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced late Saturday night the new maximum ex-depot sale prices for petroleum products, effective June 29 (today). The new per litre prices, according to OGRA, are: Petrol Rs 75.69, HOBC Rs 88.85, kerosene Oil Rs 49.73, diesel Rs 49.05. The prices of petroleum products have been increased as international market has shown a record price hike recently, OGRA said. The petrol, HOBC, kerosene oil and LDO per litre prices have been raised by Rs 6.88, Rs 8.08, Rs 8.29 and Rs 4.46 respectively. The spokesman of OGRA said the government will continue to provide a subsidy of Rs 3.23 per litre on petrol, Rs 33.57 on koresene oil and Rs 29.04 on light diesel oil, after the price increase.
