ISLAMABAD -  The Election Commission of Pakistan will announce its verdict on a petition against intra-party elections of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on December 7th.

A three-member commission headed by the chief election commissioner on Tuesday heard the case filed by one PTI worker Yousaf Ali against the Election Commission of the PTI regarding alleged illegalities and irregularities committed during intra-party election, 2017.

Later, while talking to media persons outside the Election Commission of Pakistan, former PTI member Akbar S Babar reaffirmed his commitment to free PTI from the “corrupt mafia”.

He alleged that PTI chief Imran Khan was promoting “feudalistic and dictatorial” thinking in the party.
