Association’s President, Muhammad Jawed Bilwani gave a detailed briefing about the overall security and law & order situation in the SITE Industrial Estate. Bilwani stressed the need for establishment of Police Helpline ‘15’ Cell at the Office of SITE Association of Industry. He also demanded access to CCTV cameras for CPLC & SSP West Karachi for immediate arrest of the criminals. Jawed Bilwani, SITE Association of Industry President, also demanded increase in the number of police staff at SITE police stations “A” & “B” as well as the posting of young and active police personnel at both the SITE police stations.
Bilwani, also asked the home minister for provision of more police mobile vans and motorcycles for SITE police stations. Citing the example of KP police stations, he further asked the home minister to set up Model Police Stations in SITE Industrial Estate.
On the occasion, Sohail Anwar Siyal said that the government is striving to maintain law and order in the province particularly in Karachi. He stressed the need to help the police to fight against crime and corruption. He was of the view that most of the crimes are committed with the help of motorcycles, therefore, the Government is considering tracking system for motorcycles. However, the home minister was of the view that crime ratio has decreased to a large extent.
Home Minister , Sindh assured the office bearers of SITE Association of Industry that all their demands will be fulfilled after due process.
