ISLAMABAD:- Acting chairman of PARC, Dr Nadeem Amjad Friday said the research in wheat enabled Pakistani farmers to increase their yields from 863 kg per hectare in 1965 to 2,753 kg per hectare in 2016. He was speaking at an event at NARC. He said this event would serve as a platform for exchanging information, discussing opportunities and challenges and planning joint ventures to address the emerging and re-emerging threats to wheat crop and the food security.–APP
