Minister of Works Dr Muhammad Iqbal says the government has decided to replace wooden bridges with RCC bridges in all ten districts of Gilgit-Baltistan, reported Radio Pakistan. 

He said this in an interview to our Gilgit corresponded. 

The wooden bridges are in large numbers in GB some constructed before independence of Pakistan. As the number of tourists have increased in norther areas of Pakistan in recent past, the government is working on developing the infrastructure of the region.
