Primary teachers demand regularization

Kandhkot - Primary school teachers (PST), recruited under the (NTS) National Testing Service, took out a rally here on Wednesday from Tower Roundabout to the press club for regularization of their services.

Led by Mohammad Ibrahim Bhutto, Ziauddin Malik, Ahmed Ali, Shoaib Ahmed and others, a large number of primary school teachers started their march from the Tower Roundabout and headed towards the press club.

Holding placards and banners in their hands, they were raising slogans against the government.

Speaking to the media, the protestors said that despite passage of three years they had been working on ad hoc basis. Our services had not been regularized as yet, which was sheer injustice with us, they complained. They argued that the government was bound to regularize their services.

They demanded Sindh chief minister, minister for education and other authorities concerned resolve their issues; otherwise they would be left with no option but to intensify their protests. Finally they dispersed peacefully.
