Teachers of newly established 75 primary schools in various areas of Cholistan are deprived of salaries from consecutive last nine months. According to details 75 schools were established in February 2010 for promotion of education in the downtrodden and backward area of Cholistan but despite passage of nine months-the newly appointed teachers of these schools have been deprived of their salaries that not only put question mark at the functioning of these schools but also at the survival of the newly appointed teachers. Punjab Government has appointed hundreds teachers at these newly established schools but mismanagement of the education department deprived the teachers from their monthly salaries as a result-this has also raised the fear for closure of these schools that could hinder the opportunity of education for the children of these areas.
