KHAIRPUR - Two villagers were recovered from Sobhodero police station on Monday evening. According to details, Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate Sobhodero Waqar Ahmed Junejo, along with other staff, on the directives of District and Sessions Judge Khairpur Miss Sadaf Khokhar raided Sobhodero police station and seized its record. Later during search of quarters of the police station, it recovered two illegally detained boys, Imran Mangnejo, 14 and Hub Ali Mangnejo, 16.  The magistrate directed the SHO to appear before the court along with record today (Tuesday).

Relatives of these boys had filed a petition before the session judge in which they had stated that police had arrested both of them without any justification.

They alleged that police was demanding ransom for their release and was threatening to kill them in the event of non-payment of the amount.
