Wah Cantt - Lt Gen Omar Mahmood Hayat, HI(M), Chairman POF Board and Chairman Board of Governors, University of Wah, laid the foundation stone of a boys hostel and library for University of Wah yesterday.
The hostel, catering for residential accommodation for 292 students, will provide a secure and comfortable residence to the university’s male students hailing from distant cities. The hostel is furnished and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities inconsonance with modern living at an affordable cost. The estimated cost of boys hostel is Rs 115.6 million while library would cost Rs 66.25 million.
The chairman POF board appreciated the efforts and vision of the university management for adding facilities for the students. A large number of students including VC Engr Khaliq-ur-Rehman Shaad, faculty members and senior POF officers were present on this occasion.
