Assistant Education Officer Madam Mussarat asked the subdivision north schools’ administrations to ensure proper security arrangement as per the Standard Operating Procedure.
The AEO said this while presiding over a meeting held to review the security of educational institutions here the other day. All head teachers and security guards attended the meeting. “The management of all the private and public schools is bound to take security measures as per the SOP lay down for the security of educational institution,” she said.
She said that subdivision north school’s management were reviewing the security arrangements at the schools, which were divided into three categories – A+, A, and B for security purpose.
 After the meting talking to the media men, the AEO said that there should be complete boundary wall for every school in addition to metal detectors, security guards, security barriers and evacuation point in the schools of the north sub-division.
