PESHAWAR - In order to ensure effective academic standards in public sector colleges and avoid loss to government exchequer, the Khyber Pakhtu-nkhwa government has imposed a ban on postings and transfers of college teachers forthwith, said a notification issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department in Peshawar on Thursday.
The notification said that proposals for the posting and transfers will be considered during summer and winter vacations in the light of academic needs and in accordance with the policy provisions enshrined in civil servants act of 1973.
