LAHORE: A schoolboy was kidnapped from Sabzazar police precincts on Wednesday. Abdul Turab told the police that his son, Abu Bakar, went to school in the morning but did not return. Abdul Turab, said to be a security guard at the Punjab University, feared that his son had been abducted by unidentified gunmen. The police have registered a case and are investigating with no arrest made yet.
ELECTROCUTED: An official of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) was electrocuted. Police said that 43-year-old Siddque was repairing wires in Dholanwal when he sustained severe electric shocks.  He was rushed to hospital where he expired. The body was handed over to the family.–Staff Reporter
