Parents of APS martyrs slam PM

PESHAWAR - Parents of the martyred students of Army Public School (APS) on Friday said that bereaved families of the martyred students needs no financial assistance but lamented that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on his arrival to Peshawar even did not bother to condole with the bereaved families.
"Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif came to Peshawar to condole with the affected families even after four days of the windstorm but did not bother to condole with the parents of martyred students," said Haji Dost Muhammad while addressing a news conference on Friday.
Flanked by Tufail Khattak, Fazal Advocate and mother of Asfandyar Shaheed, he said that tycoon Malik Riaz also announced to establish a university after the name of 'terrorist' Altaf Hussain in Karachi but knowingly forgot to announce establishment of a university to laud the sacrifices of the APS students. They also lamented that President Mamnon Hussain also did not bother to send a condolence letter.
"PTI Chairman Imran Khan had also made commitment to advocate the case of martyred students but he too forgot his promise," they added. They said that who made compromise on the martyrdom of APS students, who got benefits from it," they questioned. They also warned to record their protest at international level if justice was not provided them.
