I am in agreement with the views of the writer that appeared in your paper on June 2, 2015. It is time to revise this committee that has been run by non PhD’s and non Academicians with serious conflict of interest. As the minimum educational requirement for a VC is PhD the committee should consist of eminent scholars with terminal degrees. The current search committee should be disbanded with immediate effect, to select high caliber candidates to head our public sector universities.
