WARBURTON - Rationalization of ministerial staff in Nankana Sahib District Education Department proved a joke, said Punjab Teachers Union Central President Ch Muhammad Ali.
He said that ministerial staff threw the orders of EDO Education and openly infringed on his orders.
According to details, the Punjab Education Department gave a policy in 2014 to the EDOs across Punjab to bring about rationalization of teachers and ministerial staff in line with rationalization policy to create a balance in ministerial staff in schools according to the student enrollment.
He said that more than 40 percent of ministerial staff started seeking political asylum instead of shifting to the new deprived stations.
He said that the Head Teachers of Govt Higher Secondary School More Khunda, Govt Iqbal Model High School Buckeki, Govt Girls MC High School Nankana Sahib, Govt Ahmad Khan Kharal High School Syed Wala, Govt High School Nathuwala, Govt Model High School Warburton, Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Shahkot, Govt Abual Khair High School, Shahkot, Govt Boys MC High School, Nankana Sahib, Govt Binatul Islam High School Warburton, Govt High School Sangla Hill and others were still waiting for joining of ministerial staff to be shifted from schools of surplus ministerial staff.
He appealed the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to look into the matter and asked the EDO Education to implement the rationalization following the policy of rationalization with letter and spirit.
