Poster exhibition of terror victims
LAHORE - The Punjab Council of the Arts arranged poster exhibition “Sympathy to Victims of Terrorism” at Lahore City Heritage Museum on Monday. Punjab Government spokesman Zaeem Hussain Qadri inaugurated the exhibition that will continue till next Monday. As many as 160 posters, mostly computer graphics, of students of various universities and colleges were displayed in the exhibition.
Lahore Museum Director Sumaira Samad, Coins Keeper Noshaba Anjam and Punjab Art Council Executive Director Ch Muhammad Asif were present at the inauguration.
The panel comprising ex-principal College of Arts and Design Shah Nawaz Zaidi, Prof Amjad Pervaiz and TEVTA Deputy General Manager Bushra Akhtar selected eight top posters for prizes.
Maria Asim, QuratulainTahir and Saira Basit got first, second and third position and they were given cash prize of Rs50,000, Rs30,000 and Rs20,000 respectively. Five students were given consolation prize of Rs15,000 each.
