Government attaches high priority to education: Minister

LAHORE -  Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan yesterday said the government was attaching high priority to provision of quality education.

“Youth have to be equipped with modern education for development of the country. Latest gadgets are essential to meet demands of current era and the Punjab government will empower the young nation builders with modern education,” he added. He stated this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of new education block of Government Girls High School, Sodiwal. The minister announced new hall, library and water filtration plant for the school.

He also announced vocational training institute for the residents of the area.

He said under the visionary leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, revolutionary steps were being taken for the promotion of education.  EDO Education Lahore Tariq Rafique and Principal Government Girls High School Sodiwal Farah Amir were also present.

Transfer: The Punjab government promoted Deputy secretary Staff to Chief Secretary Sagheer Ahmad and posted as Additional secretary Finance. Saima Ali was posed as DS Staff.

DCO R Y Khan Zafar Iqbal was poseds as Land computerization Unit Project Director and TDCP GM Operations Tanveer Jabir was posted as OSD.
