Fed Cup: Women tennis camp begins
 
 
 
LAHORE - Pakistan women tennis team camp started here in Lahore at Bagh-e-Jinnah Tennis Court for the preparation of qualifying round for the Federation Cup under the banner of International Tennis Federation (ITF).
Six players including Ushna Sohail, Sara Mansoor, Saba Sohail, Sara Mehboob, Anoosha Aslam and Iman Qureshi under the coaching of Rasheed Malik. Camp Commander is Rao Iftikhar Ahmad while team manger is Mrs Nausheen Iftikhar. Amman Asghar, former Davis Cupper, is camp coordinator.
The trails for the final selection of three players will be held on January 23.
The qualifying round will be played at Bangkok in Thailand from January 31 to February 3 and Pakistan women tennis team will compete for it after a long gap of 12 years. All-out efforts of PTF President Kalim Imam made it possible for women tennis team to take part in any international tennis event.
