KARACHI – NIT cricket team played its fourth pool match of Toyota Southern Motors T-20 Cricket Tournament at Moin Khan Cricket Academy ground Karachi against South end Stallions Team, says a press release.
Stallions, after winning the toss, decided to bat first to post a huge score of 223 runs in the allotted 20 overs with a loss of 6 wickets. NIT team chased the score forcefully but crumbled down in last overs and could score only 201 runs with loss of 5 wickets.
It was a high scoring event in which each team scored more then 200 runs. Sarfaraz and Raju were top scorers from Stallions side with 71 & 67 runs respectively. Atif and Moeed took two wickets each from NIT. Ebad of NIT was the highest scorer with 66 runs off 40 balls. NIT team will play its last pool match with PARCO this week.
