Foreign exchange reserves reach $18.5bn

ISLAMABAD- Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves today reached the highest ever level of $18.5 billion.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar extended felicitations to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on this important achievement.

Experts, however, believe that foreign exchange reserves were boosted by recent loan disbursement by international donor agencies including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and the Asian Development Bank.
