ISLAMABAD (APP) - The power generation on Friday was recorded as 10,614 MW against total demand of 14,786 MW while the shortfall again surged to 4,172 MW during the last 24 hours. According to daily power generation report, out of total power generation, 3,555 MW was generated from hydel, 2,620 MW from thermal and 4,439 MW from IPPs. As many as 700 MW was supplied to KESC, the report further said.
