LPG price slashed by Rs 11.50 per kg



ISLAMABAD  - The liquefied petroleum gas marketing companies on Monday reduced the price of LPG by Rs 11.50 per kilogram.
The companies took decision following the reduction of prices in the international market, said chairman of LPG Distributors Association (LPGDA) Pakistan Irfan Khokar.
A reduction of $78 per ton in price of international market trimmed down the price from $895 to $817 per ton. There would be reduction of Rs 134 per kg in domestic cylinder price while Rs 515 in the price of commercial cylinder after the imposition of this cut. The LPG price was fixed at Rs.90578 per ton for the month of April.
The new price of LPG in Gilgit, FATA, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Naran, Kaghan and Peshawar would be Rs.115/Kg and 1330 per domestic cylinder.
He further informed that in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Muree, Attock, Mirpur, Jehlum, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar khan and Multan the price of LPG would be Rs110 per kg and 1270 per domestic cylinder. While in Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat price would be Rs 100/kg, 1150/cylinder.
