Lahore (PPI) - Acting Chairman Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) Khawaja Shahzeb Akram has said that Federal Minister Health Riaz Pirzada has assured to implement Drug Regulatory Authority (DRA) very soon and all pending projects of pharmaceutical industry would be completed soon. He was enlightening the details of meeting with Federal Minister Health to the members of PPMA here yesterday in association office. He said that a 14 member delegation of PPMA including Mian Asad Shuja-ur-Rehman, Amjad Ali Jawa, Shaikh Qaiser Waheed, Shafique Abbasi met with Federal Health Minister. The delegation conveyed the Federal Minister regarding problems being faced by Pharmaceutical Industry and also discussed about 18th amendment. Federal Director General Health Dr. Asad Hafeez, Drug Controller Shaikh Ansar Ahmad, Federal Additional Secretary Health Dr. Khalid Hanif and other senior officials of Health Department were also present at this occasion.
