LAHORE - The All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran has announced to support the Azad Progressive Alliance in the upcoming Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry elections.
The APAT general secretary Naeem Mir declared this in a meeting with Azad Group chairman Raja Hassan Akhtar and Progressive Group president Khalid Usaman. The meeting was also attended by Anjuman-e-Tajiran Lahore president Shahid Bilal, general secretary Shahid Iqbal and chairman Rana Shahbaz.
They also visited Data Darbar, where the APAT general secretary said that the traders apex body will fully support the candidates of Azad Progressive Alliance, as the group is the symbol of change. He appreciated the services of Azad Progressive Alliance, saying it represents the middle class traders.
Meanwhile, a total of 43 candidates Saturday filed their nominations for forthcoming LCCI Polls being held on September 19 and 20 respectively.
17 candidates filed papers for Corporate Class, 2 for reserved seat of women entrepreneur and 24 candidates for Associate Class seats. Secretary General LCCI Syed Muhammad Saqlain received the nomination papers.
