KARACHI - American dollar has maintained its stability in currency market after the involvement of central bank. According to the data provided by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar traded at lowest price of Rs 105.85 and highest price of Rs 105.90 in inter-bank while the lowest price of it in cash free market was Rs 106.90 and highest was Rs 107.15.
Sources in market said that the stability of dollar against rupee is possible if government took some serious majors including the first of fall debt servicing, import bill and try to bring foreign investment because investors believe that investment and cost of setting up plants will be expensive in Pakistan so they move to cheaper countries like to India, China, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The last seven years witnessed the huge devaluation of rupee against dollar and it took the height during last month, further he added.
