OGDCL distributes 5,000 food hampers worth Rs2.1m among IDPs

Islamabad : On the instructions of Federal Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbassi, Ministry distributed 5000 food hampers worth Rs 2.1m amongst internally displaced persons from North Waziristan Agency at Bakka Kheil Relief Camp in Bannu. Three trucks were handed over to Abdul Qadir Baloch, Minister for States and Frontier Region, Commander Brigadier Mukhtiar Focal Person Pakistan Army, Lieutenant Bilal, Assistant Commissioner Refugees Abbas Khan and Assistant Commissioner Bannu Shakeel Ahmed and the one truck was handed over to Medical Superintendent Dr Nazeer Ahmed and Dr Qazi for distribution amongst the IDPs in Bannu District Hospital.
According to release, the recipients were very happy on receiving the food hampers and said that Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources is the first one to visit them at hospital and remember the displaced families.
