India asked for trade with Kabul via Karachi port

NEW DELHI - Refusing to sign a motor vehicle agreement and to open up the road link for India and Afghanistan, Pakistan has asked India to carry out trade via the Karachi port, Indian media quoting officials said on Sunday. Indian reports said that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani told the Pakistani leadership that if they do not open up the road to India, they will deny Pakistan access to Central Asia. "Pakistan wants to expect Afghanistan to be open as far as their access to Central Asia is concerned and it's very natural for Afghanistan to expect from out Pakistan neighbours to open up," CEO of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah said.
