LAHORE The Pakistan Academy of Sciences, Islamabad (PAS) has awarded the Gold Medal 2011 to GCU Lahore VC Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman for his outstanding research in the field of Physics, says a press release. Every year, only one of the best scientists in each subject receives the prestigious award for his contributions to the cause of science at the national and international levels. Prof. Khaleeq is one of the most eminent physicists of Pakistan has over 100 research articles published in international journals to his credit, besides several books and articles on the subject of Physics. He was awarded the highest Presidential Award Izaz-i-Kamal for his meritorious service in education sector.
