‘PR on track to prosperity’
 
 
 

LAHORE  - Pakistan Railways is back on track to prosperity with the efforts of Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, management and workers.
These views were expressed by PR Employees (PREM) Union senior vice president Sheikh M Anwar while talking to APP here on Sunday.
He claimed the crisis of the railways had been over and it was earning profit now.
Thanking the minister for removing four retired officers from the PRACS who were working on contract, he said it was a demand of the union. He also lauded the decision of posting a professional working officer as managing director of the PRACS.
He demanded the minister to fulfil his promise that chairman would not be taken from the District Management Group and requested that the chairman should be posted from the department.
He said that hundreds of retired officers were working on contract in Railcop and demare a burden on the department.
Anwar said that vacant technical posts should be filled with additional employees working in other branches of the PR or children of railways employees should be appointed.
