In this regard Meezan Bank Ltd has signed an agreement with Universal Express (Pvt.) Ltd for continuation of Umrah & Hajj travel facilitation service in 2010. As part of the deal, Universal Express Umrah travel packages will now be available at Meezan Banks 201 branches in 54 cities across Pakistan to help customers in performing the holy journey. Universal Express (Pvt.) Ltd is one of the leading tour & travel service providers of the country and has vast experience in Hajj & Umrah arrangements. Meezan Bank will act as a sales & funds collecting agent on behalf of Universal Express (Pvt) Ltd and also provide interest free installment payment facility to those customers who may wish to avail the option of paying in installments after performing the Umrah. Universal Express (Pvt) Ltd will be responsible for all the Umrah services service to the customers in Saudi Arabia. With the aim to offer socially responsible products, Meezan Bank has join hand with leading tour & travel operators in the country to assist its customer and to provide comfort, convenience and security to pilgrims.
